- You answer a few questions about the birthday person. We then rank gift ideas by how well they match their interests, your relationship, their age group and your budget. The calculation happens in your browser.
- Do you earn anything from what I pick?
- No. You get ideas here, not products and not shops. There is no commission in the ranking, for the simple reason that an idea has no field for a price, a shop or a partner in the first place.
- Is the information about the birthday person stored?
- No. What you enter is about somebody else, so it stays in your browser. It never reaches our servers, never appears in the link and is never saved. Refresh the page and it is gone.
- Why do you not ask for an exact age?
- Because an age group is enough to give good ideas. Asking for less personal data about someone who is not here to consent is always better.
- What is the difference between quick and detailed?
- Quick asks four questions. Detailed also asks about the kind of gift, the delivery time and — if food comes into it — about allergies and dietary needs, so we can rule out anything that will not work.
